Microsoft interested in making a Gears of War Strategy

 

Following the purchase of the license and the success of Halo Wars, the Redmond discarded not make a Gears of War RTS.

A few days ago Microsoft itself acquired the license of Gears of War by Epic Games for an amount that could even amount to 100 million dollars. From now on, the Redmond, are free to give the number of the address you want, and that could come in the form of a change in the gender of a future installment of the series.

Phil Spencer , one of the key executives of Microsoft in the United States, believes it would be very interesting  to develop a Gears of War strategy in real time. So at least it has sent one of his followers on Twitter, hinting that the company is not closed to do this experiment. It must be said, it would not be the first time Microsoft test to make a game of strategy series. Learned long ago that Microsoft had canceled such a Gears of War: Exile , a title of RTS that was going to make heavy use of Kinect. The project was canceled in its alpha stage of development, but even different screenshots were leaked.

This shift would not be unreasonable in view of the success he had in his time Halo Wars , a strategy title from the famous Xbox shooter.
